Our mission is to create smoother pathways to employment for newcomers who are job ready. As featured in The Record, we have supported over 120 successful employment journeys with industry partners by delivering tailor-made language and vocational skills training on the job site.
Recruiting and retaining talent takes time, energy and skills, and can be more challenging when language and culture is a barrier. Our solution meaningfully integrates employees into the company and community through direct support, training and retention services.

How the Program works:
- Employment ready government assisted refugees are referred by their case manager to the employment team.
- The employment team conducts a skills assessment and provides Canadian workplace culture orientations in the client’s native language.
- Once the client completes assessment and orientation, they are referred for employment, to our employment partners where they receive on the job language support and additional mentorship.
- Reception House provides continuous settlement services and support for employers throughout the process
